In ancient times part of Kingsbury Episcopi. Burials at Kingsbury until 1891. Weddings at Kingsbury until 1931, Nov. 11, when a licence for solemnization of Marriages at St. James' Church, East Lambrook, was issued, after the reunion of the two parished.
