TutorEnterprise is designed for organisations that want a full-featured learning management system with user customisation and scalability at an affordable investment. With Web+ as the underlying technology, TutorPro is able to offer, feature for feature, the most cost-effective learning management system in industry today.
Summary:
TutorEnterprise was designed with three types of users in mind: the learner, the administrator and the manager. There is a great deal of flexible technology available to the manager using TutorEnterprise. This will assist the client’s staff in developing all of the TutorEnterprise users.
TutorEnterprise has many features built-in to this browser based design that do not appear in other products.
§ The TutorEnterprise Manager Module allows you to define unlimited roles and security (administrators, managers, trainers and customers) to access, report and manage student records granting the precise level of access they need.
§ The TutorEnterprise Student Module allows employees and customer employees to access a user-friendly portal to review history, requirements and self-enrol into either scheduled or on-line training.
§ Rapid Data Entry Wizards for entering “On-the-Job” Training or off-site seminar attendance.
§ Self Enrolment into Scheduled Training with Wait List Management and Supervisor Authorisation.
§ A “Not Taken” report that answers the question “Who has not completed training?” This would be used for the following types on information gathering: Management needs to get a list of people who have not completed “Sexual Harassment Prevention in the Workplace” or some other equally important training. Most competitors systems require that you look through all of the individual records, one at a time. This is not really practical if you need to get this data company wide or even for a large department. With TutorEnterprise this information is available from a built in report and you can drill into the report to see who hasn't had the training in a particular date range, or by department, or by user group and other criteria.
§ Seamless integration into any HRIS system that can not only load people, but if the information is available automatically maintain list boxes (departments, titles, divisions), user groups, managers, etc.
§ Automatic training assignments to people based on Job Tile, Department, Company Wide, Division, Manager, Non-Manager.
§ Launching and Tracking of On-line training.
§ Automatic emails to remind people to attend training or managers with people deficient in training requirements.
TutorEnterprise conforms to the following standards/models: AICC 1 and SCORM 1.2. TutorEnterprise has been designed to be perfectly compatible with TutorAuthor and other commercially available authoring tools. Thousands of commercial courses from vendors like SkillSoft, InfoSource, Xebec, Geo Learning, Vivid Learning Concepts and E-Health have been certified as compatible with TutorEnterprise.
Many competitors’ systems are not designed to run on the Windows XP Professional platform and compatibility with future editions of Microsoft Windows XP or Microsoft.Net server platforms has not yet been determined. TutorEnterprise works with all Microsoft platforms and intends to work with all future editions.
