A collaboration between Matt Bunday Events Limited, 103.9 Voice FM Radio and Southampton Solent University.

Introduction.

First staged in 2015, Southampton City LIVE! is a collaboration between Matt Bunday Events Ltd (www.mattbundayevents.com), 103.9 Voice FM Radio (www.voicefmradio.co.uk ), and Southampton Solent University (https://www.solent.ac.uk/).

Bandstand LIVE! first in ran in August in 2015, and again in May last year, and will return on the 13th May in 2017 under the name of ‘Southampton City LIVE@ Bandstand’. The 2016 event attracted around 3,000 people through the course of the day and was enjoyed by an all ages. A name change has been brought about in 2017 to try to grow the event and take it in a positive new direction as a key arts and music festival for Southampton.

Working with Enham Trust and SoCo Music Project, Southampton City LIVE! is presented with the support and encouragement of Southampton City Council who wish to see their parks used for more events. This is a free to attend event. Southampton City LIVE! seeks to showcase the best of local music within a one day festival experience with a mixture of great music, great food, and interesting experiences.

The 2017 Southampton City LIVE! event will be from 12 noon until 9pm on Saturday 13rd May, with children’s and family orientated entertainment from the start at 12noon. More details will be available on the website as they are confirmed.

Small stall holders.

There are opportunities for stall holders with a large number of 11ft x 11ft pitches available. These pitches are ideal for a 3 x 3m gazebo and the opportunity for people to sell their crafts etc in a festival type arena situated close to the main shopping area of Southampton with all the advantages that that brings. These pitches will only cost £20 + VAT. Booking forms, with our terms and conditions, are available on our website. Do get in touch by email if you have any queries.

Traders: Food and other concessions.

We are also offering a number of commercial concessions including, food, drink, and entertainment. There will mostly be a general exclusivity granted with these. Prices for these will vary. Please get in touch if this interests you.
