As PV-course holder, I have the task to read and comment on the groups P1 process analysis, in order to give you some tips to become even more proficient in project work, and ask some good questions to help you reflect on howyoudo things and make suggestions for improvement.
Group A220. January 2013
It is a short but very precise and concrete process analysisyou have written with good ideas for improvement. You have forgotten to write about learning and have no documentation of time schedule, group contract etc. The analysis is copied from a process analysis from last year and modified where you have been doing things differently than the other group but in some situations you are using the exact words of the other group making it a little suspicious and hard to believe that you have in fact experienced exactly the same as the other group did last year.
Comments/questions:
- What formal roles will you use in the future, what tasks should they precisely perform? How long should one person perform the task? Should the job be assessed?
- On what levels will you plan the execution of your next project and how will you ensure that the plans are followed?
- What do you mean with 3.e) on page 2? It could be taken for plagiarism as it is totally identically to last year’s process analysis and you have made no reference!
- What do you think need to be addressed in a future cooperation contract?
- How did you divide the workload? What are the pro’s and con’s in working alone compared to working in smaller groups of e.g. two persons?
- How was your supervisor meetings run in practice (chair, minutes etc.)? What experiences from these meetings did you get? What type of facilitation did you receive?
- How will you organize cooperation with supervisors in the future?
- How was your learning process? Did you learn anythingin your technical and professional area? How did you help each other learning beside from using the blackboard?
Best of wishesand a happy New Year
