(August 2009 – Present)

  • Developed the “condition waste” functional requirementsfor the East Area Waste Receiving Facility (WRF) and worked with engineers and programmers on the Mission Analysis Report (MAR) evaluating alternate solutions for the location, tank sizes, and above or below grade tank systems.
  • Conducted the Environmental Management Project Definition Rating Index (EM-PDRI)assessment with the System Engineers and Project Leads for the AY/AZ Ventilation System Upgrade.

Mechanical Engineer, Chevron Piceance Basin Natural Gas Development Project: DeBeque, CO

  • Developed and prepared mechanical specifications and data sheets for various equipment (field erected tank, and centrifugal and reciprocating pumps).
  • Worked with vendor and procurement to purchase equipment and clarify mechanical issues and client preferences.

CAD Specialist, Olmsted Dam Project: Olmsted, Illinois

(February 2008 – July 2008)

  • Worked with the designers and engineers to properly place embedded metals and rebar inside a concrete shell.
  • The work done was used to properly model the construction of the rebar and identify complex areas to assemble in the field. This will be used to cut down on in-field fabrication and lost time due to trial and error during the construction phase.

  • Revised project Design General Specifications, Drawings, and Design Basis documents for Mechanical and Fire & Gas disciplines.
  • Kept an organized record of all Mechanical documents going for approval for both in-house squad check and client review.
  • Facilitated client and supplier meetings to discuss exceptions to clarification for final document submittal and product deliverables.

Mechanical Engineer, PREPA Combined Cycle Project: San Juan, Puerto Rico

(March 2007 – June 2007)

  • During the duration of this project, mechanical walk downs for the combined cycle power plant was conducted. This consisted of physically noting and matching as built construction to design drawings.
  • Prepared final documentation for start-up that included punch list, inspection reports, construction reports, quality control reports and drawings. Concluding with inspection of proper pipe supports for critical piping and small bore piping.

  • Prepared and complied mechanical requisitions packages for the proposal of long lead equipment for a refinery upgrading project.
  • Assisted group meetings discussing bid tabulations for mechanical equipment with multiple office sites.
