We have nearly completed a year of Workshops with Mike Rosa teaching us his Step by Step WCS Workshops and Westies in Essex have been running workshops for 4 years now, where does the time go! I’m delighted to see our group of dancers develop as WCS Dancers and spread their wings to other groups and WCS experiences too. That’s what it is all about, getting out there. I’m also delighted to see month on month new people join our group and I hope so we can grow the WCS love in Essex we hope you will encourage your friends to come along too at some point. The more members we have the better the club will be for it.
So! What’s coming up?!
Sunday 3rd December our XMAS PARTY/Fun Workshop/TEA DANCE open to all dancers to celebrate dance. So tell your friends to come along! 1-3pm Fun Workshop suitable for all, even complete Beginners and then we have our Tea Dance from 3pm to around 6pm’sh. £20 pre booked and pre paid or £25 on the door. Just the Tea Dance £12.00 on the door. Mike Rosa is sure to entertain and have great tracks playing too. Raffle too!
WCS Practice session Great Easton village hall, Saturday 25th November 10.15 to around 12.30/1pm. Just £10 payable on the day, just let me know you are coming along. Suitable for Beginners/Improvers …as Mike says practice makes perfect and the more you practice the basics the more you can enjoy Mike’s workshops at Stock.
Our chilled intimate WCS dance weekend at 5* Potters Resort in Norfolk 18th to 21st May 2018 is selling well and we do have a limit of numbers of people we can take, so if you are thinking about it why not get booked on now. It’s FULL BOARD, comprehensive levels of workshops for all levels, a full programme of dance and social dancing included, as well as the Potters entertainment and activities and dance classes too. Two/three night options available.

My first WCS weekender at Potters was very enjoyable to say the least. The dance classes are taught from beginners to intermediate plus level. It was all very chilled with a nice variety of lessons with exceptional teachers. A show is also put on each evening from the Potters own dancers, which is highly entertaining. The people who attended were very friendly, made you feel very welcome, & were all of mixed dancing abilities. You had a chance at meal times to mix & match if you chose to with exceptionally lovely food. In all it was a fab weekend, highly recommended in fact I am down to attend 2018!!"
