Proposals are being solicited by Cherokee Nation Entertainment for the following scope of work:

Snow and ice removal

All bidders must include a list and pictures of all available equipment with hourly rates per piece of equipment provided. Pricing must include the operator. If minimums need to be met, please include those in bid.

All bidders must provide information on the number of employees they have available to illustrate their resources for the work to be done.

Snow plowing, removal and salting services will be performed seven (7) days per week (Sunday through Saturday), including holidays

Primary task is snow and ice removal of parking areas, drives and sidewalks, concentrating primarily on high traffic areas and/or as directed by a CNE representative. Bidder needs to be aware that CNE customer convenience and safety is always the first and foremost priority.

All work shall be performed between the hours of ______and on-call as needed with lots and sidewalks clean for customers and employees entering the facility by ______

Contractor shall ensure that walkways, building entrances, loading dock areas, truck entrance gates, and parking lots should be cleared to permit access to the property by the start of business day, 7:00 a.m., if snow accumulation of more than 2’’ occurs.

Contractor to supply all labor, snowplows, front-end loaders, dump trucks, shovels, snow blowers, ice melt*, salt, salt spreaders (hand & truck), and safety equipment needed to complete the work.

1. Snowfall: Plowing and salting of all paved areas, entrances, and clearing/de-icing of all walkways during storms, to permit access and movement of staff if snowfall of more than 2” occurs. It is the Contractor’s responsibility to return to the property to keep the entrances, drive aisles, and sidewalks free from ice and snow. At no time, shall there be a hazardous/life safety condition to exist.

2. Slippery Conditions Anytime: When surfaces are slippery and/or temperatures are at or below freezing, the contractor is responsible for applying ice melt*, which must be spread on sidewalks and walkways and salt must be spread onto all the parking lot areas.

3. Charges for Services: The contractor will submit a breakout with different line item prices itemized to cover the cost of each service of plowing, shoveling, and snowplowing, salting and de-icing during and after a snowstorm. The Contractor will not submit additional charges for “during storm clean-up”.

4. Approved Areas: Contractor will pile snow in areas approved by CNE. These are areas marked in yellow in the photograph in section.

5. Additional Salting & De-icing: As requested by the CNE, contractor may be asked to provide additional salting and de-icing on grounds. This would be in addition to the normal storm accumulations specifications and should be considered to cover the same areas but only when requested by CNE.

6. Inspections: Contractor will inspect Property for pre-existing damage and submit a report detailing all pre-existing damage by commencement of contract award.

A guaranteed response time of 2-hours or less to be on-site is required from time of notification.

All laborers will be required to check in at the CNE Security Desk upon arrival and departure.

Billable time will start upon arrival to CNE property and end upon departure, validated by the check in & out logs at Security Desk.
