Dear Parents,

Thank you for so generously supporting Children in Need Day today. As well as having lots of spottily dressed children in school you raised a massive £142.45 for the charity! Impressive or what?

Cross Country News- We once again had 3 runners in the Mid-Warwickshire League. Evie Gillman, Nicole Parton and Jago Vialan enjoyed a sunny run across the fields at Priors Field in Kenilworth on Saturday, 5th November. This included a run through an icy stream! All three ran strongly and had tremendous fun- well done!

Continuing Closure of Smiths Lane- Unfortunately the mains diversion works is taking even longer than had been anticipated. Consequently Smith’s Lane will remain closed until approximately 23rd December.

Christmas Post- Children who wish to send Christmas cards (Sorry, we know it is a bit early to mention the ‘C’ word but needs must!), the Christmas Post box will be in the library area from Monday, 5th December. Please make sure the recipient’s name (first and last if possible) and class number are clearly written on the envelope. We have more than one Aidan, Maisie, Lilly and Sophie and Anna in school and our Year 6 children have the lovely job of sorting and delivering cards. It will make their job so much easier if all the necessary information is written on the envelope.

This year our Traditional Christmas Dinner is being held on Tuesday, 13th December. If your child already has hot dinners we will assume that they will have Christmas dinner and there is nothing you need to do. If your child usually brings a packed lunch from home but would like to have this special meal please complete and return the reply slip below by Friday, 2nd December, at the latest. Please note that t6here is also a vegetarian option. The meal will cost £2.10 and you can pay by cash or cheque (cheques payable to WCC please) Payment can be made anytime up to the day of the meal. Children in Classes 1 and 2 are entitled to a free meal so no payment is needed but please complete the reply slip so that we can add your child to our numbers for the meal. Please also indicate if your child has any food allergies. If you have any questions about this meal please speak to Mrs Hollowell in the office.
