Travel

Washington National (Reagan) airport is closest to our office, but you may find cheaper flights to BWI or Washington Dulles, which are both accessible to DC via public transportation.

Accommodations

We have not reserved a block of hotel rooms, but we suggest that you stay at a hotel in or near downtown DC, where our meeting will be held. Some suggestions, from searching on (under Hotels) are:

Scheduling Meetings with Members of Congress

SGA has contracted with Advocacy Associates to schedule your Congressional meetings. To set those up we need to know (1) if you are planning to attend the meeting and lobby day and (2) any scheduling conflicts you have between 9 am and 5:30 pm on Tuesday, February 10th. Please send that information to Stephanie Potts at . We need to start scheduling meetings soon to maximize your changes of a meeting with the Member of Congress themselves.

Lobby Day Prep Conference call—Wednesday, February 4th at 2pm EST

We will have a conference call on Wednesday, February 4 at 2pm EST to go over the legislation, talking points, and tips for having a successful meeting for the lobby day as well as answer any questions you might have. Please let us know if you can make this call, RSVP to Stephanie at . We will go through this information again on February 10th but encourage everyone that is able to join the conference call to ensure you are comfortable with the materials.
