TheFishing Association of Slovenia decided to candidate for the organizationof the World Championship Coarse Angling Ladies in 2013.
Slovenia lies in Central Europe, it is a small country and has just over 2 millionpeople. Sloveniaadorn the Alps and high mountains to the west and north, extensive plain in the east and the sea in the south.
Slovenia is a young country with a 120 year tradition of organized fishing sports. The Fishing Association of Slovenia incorporates 64 Fishing clubs with 14.000members. The more important part of activities are competitions. We’ve got 500registered competitors. Matches on national basics have a tradition over 50 years.
The organization of the competition is confined to the Fishing Club in Radeče. Radeče is a small town and lies on the river Sava. The Club organized in the past 10 years three big competitions. The World Championship for disable persons in2004, the European Championship for members in 2008 and the Fishing WorldChampionship - Youth 2012 .
The delegates and members from FIPSED , evaluated, that all Championshipswere organized on a high level. The competitors left Rdaeče with a lot of good impressions.
On the long way of the river Sava, are build some dam regions and hydroelectric power plant . Such a dam region is also in Radeče. There built the Fishing Club Radeče one of the best fishing line in Slovenia. The line is located in a natural environment, and it is one of the most beautiful in Europe.
Sava is populated with a lot of fishes. The dams are in fact transitional fish passes, which allow fish migrations from dam to dam.We think, that all competitions which happened in Radeče, were organized very well. Particular, we will do our best by the organization of the 20th World Championship Coarse Angling Ladies, that all ladies and companions will be more than satisfied.
Description of the competition venue
The World Championship Coarse Angling Ladies will be held on the river Sava. Because of the hydroelectric power plant in Vrhovo, the competition venue is on the dam region in Radeče.
The dam completely quiets the stream of Sava river.
The width of the river is between 140 - 200 meters. The depth in the middle of it is somewhere more than 10 meters. The line is located in a natural environment and is one of the best Slovenia. The competition places are accessible with cars.
Depth of the river 11, 5 meters from the bank:
Sector A 4,5 m Sector B 4,5 m Sector C 4,5 m Sector D 7,5 m Sector E 7,5 m
River Sava is a slow running river. Also more days of rain and turbidity of water do not affect the competition.
Most competition places got regulated platforms .
River Sava is populated by many fish species such as chub, barbel, roach, carp, bream, bleak, Prussian carp and vimba.
Bait, fish fodder and other equipment will be available on the competition lines.
Baits and Ground baits
Eachcompetitorwillbeallowed to use20 liters groundbaits and 2.5 liters baits, of which a maximum amount of 1 liter of aquatic larvae, including 0.5 liter of bloodworms.
Inthe 20litersofground baits areincludedallextrassuch as: soil, sand, corn, etc.
On thedayofthecompetition (forthebaitcontrol), baitsand groundbaitsmustbepreparedandplaced in prescribedbuckets. Theorganizeroftheeventallowstheuseofcoloredmaggots.
Allbaitswillbedeliveredbytheofficialsuppliereveryday at thecompetitionlines.

Delegations of the participating countries will ensure that the amount of 1.320,0 €. (120+1200 €) will be credit to organizer's bank account.
Registration fee includes: nine tickets for the final gala, 6 fishing permissions, basic insurance for each participant as well as purchase of requisites for teams or athletes.
