Welcome to training for Fusion HCM Australia. In this session we will discuss enhanced functionality being delivered in Oracle Global Human Resources Cloud for Australia in Bundle Patch 11 for Release 10.

In Release 10, for Australia, we are delivering two new features – capturing the gender of an employee who is neither male nor female and generating the Workplace Gender Equality Profile report.

Capture of Non-specific gender feature allows capturing the gender of an employee who is neither Male nor Female.

As part of this feature, the value “Non-specific” has been included as part of the list of values for gender.

Gender information can be captured when hiring an employee or when managing the employment information of existing employees.

The new Australian Workplace Gender Equality Profile feature enables capturing additional information pertaining to the Australian Workplace Gender Equality Act. This information can be captured when hiring an employee or when managing the employment information of existing employees.

The Workplace Gender Equality Profile report generates a spreadsheet that will assist customers with completing the workplace gender profile report. The format of this generic spreadsheet may be modified by customers and can be used to assist in their yearly reporting obligations.

For the Australian workplace gender equality profile report, the key implementation consideration is the capture or updation of workplace gender equality information.

Current customers with employee data already in Fusion Global Human Resources database can upload the workplace gender equality information using Oracle HCM Data Loader utility.

New customers can upload Workplace Gender Equality information along with the employee data migrated using HCM Data Loader.

This information can also be captured when hiring new employees or when managing employment information using Fusion Global Human Resources.

For generating the Workplace Gender Equality Profile Report, the high level business process is Manage Payroll with activity Manage Payroll Interface and task name would be Run Australian Workplace Gender Profile Report.
