Sealed bids for the above work located atCapital District DDSO, 239 General Fellows Road, Greenwich, NY 12834will be received byDASNYat its office located at 515 Broadway, Albany, NY 12207. Each bid must be identified, on the outside of the envelope, with the name and address of the bidder and designated a bid for the project titled above. When a sealed bid is placed inside another delivery jacket, the bid delivery jacket must be clearly marked on the outside“BID ENCLOSED”and“ATTENTION: CONSTRUCTION CONTRACTS.”DASNYwill not be responsible for receipt of bids which do not comply with these instructions.

Individuals submitting bids in person or by private delivery services should allow sufficient time for processing through building security to assure that bids are received prior to the deadline for submitting bids. All individuals who plan to attend bid openings will be required to present government-issued picture identification to building security officials and obtain a visitors pass prior to attending the bid opening.

The project consists of all work related to Plumbing, General Construction and Electrical trades for the installation of an underground Fire Sprinkler Water storage tank at OPWDD/Capital District DDSO Easton IRA.

Plumbing scope includes installation of a 12,500 gallon underground pressurized fire water storage tank and associated 6"

underground fire service tied to the existing 4" fire service to the building. In addition, removal of the diesel fire pump and associated equipment is required.

Electrical scope includes Fire alarm connections for the new tank to the existing building fire alarm system as well as all electrical work associated with the new underground tank compressor.

General Construction scope includes miscellaneous sitework, painting, shoring, site restoration etc. as necessary to complete the installation.

There will be one Contract awarded for the Work in this Project:

Project Cost estimated at $210,000 to $240,000.
