SJMSAA Main Board Meeting:
Next meeting will beAugust 16th, 2016 starting at 6pm at the Watson Real Estate Office on CR210. This is a monthly meeting.
Please review the meeting date to ensure you can attend. If you cannot attend, please try to have someone attend in your place. Sports Directors can send a representative to give your monthly report.

- Executive Board Report:
Presidents Report: Justin Palesotti
1)Code of Conduct to be updated by Jane Rogers, Second VP and emailed to Justin Palesotti President for posting to website as amended to By- Laws
2)Motion to approve a Fundraising Director to present a marketing plan for SJMSAA to local businesses to achieve sponsorships to remain financially solvent for future years. Nominated Tammy Ferrizzi to be Fundraising Director and agreed to a Stipend payment of 15% of all sponsorships acquired for the benefit of SJMSAA with approval of the Marketing Plan presented by Tammy Ferrizzi. Mrs. Ferrizzi was brought before the Board by Dave Jarrett, 1st VP. Motion to approve Fundraising Director position- Dave Jarrett; Motion seconded; Jane Rogers. Motion passed.
3)Financial Report: Year over Year look from 2015 to 2016: SJMSAA YTD shows all Sports accounts with a positive balance and is therefore in good standing
4)BSN- Sports Equipment and Uniform provider for SJMSAA issued their rebate to the Association in the amount of $12000.00 Money will be split among all sports based on % of equipment and uniforms purchased from BSN for each individual sport according to the amount spent by each sport.
5)Suzanne Balog- Asst. Treasurer- resigned for Personal Reasons.
6)New Athletic Director for SebastianMiddle School is Cody Smith: Motion to Approve: Rick Butler; Seconded Motion: Jane Rogers
7)New Tennis Commissioners approved are Scott and Ashley Miller: Motion to Approve: Rick Butler, Seconded, Jane Rogers
8)New Baseball Commissioner is Curtis Mack: Motion to Approve: Rick Butler, Seconded, Jane Rogers.
9)Stephen Kirsche- Liberty Pines Academy Athletic Director resigned. Search for applicants to replace Stephen Kirsche is on going.
10)Open Board Treasurer Position- Applicants were still being vetted and interviewed and not approved by the Board at this time. Will be reviewed at the next meeting in August

1)Badge Process to follow CountyProcedures for background checks. Background checks to be conducted by SJMSAA. Badges for all sports will be provided by SJMSAA upon background check completion and approval.
2)All Coaches must be Background checked and badged before setting foot on the field. All coaches must provide a head shot photograph to be applied to the badge for verification. Headshots can be emailed to the following email address for processing:
Treasurer Report: Justin Palesotti
1)Treasurer position is still open and candidates are being reviewed and interviewed to fill the position.
2)Financial Year over Year report comparison from 2015 to 2016 YTD thru July 19th. All Sports are showing Positive balances and SJMSAA as a whole is financially solvent with a positive balance

New Business Report: SJMSAA purchased a laminating machine to fulfill badge requirements to meet County regulations that every coach has a printed SJMSAA badge with photo at every one of our sport functions
