Classroom Behavior: Good behavior is expected. Every student will be trained on specific procedures for my class as well as school-wide. Failure to follow the procedures will result in disciplinary action. Students will be retrained for the specific procedure until they fully understand the steps. If the student continues to choose not to follow procedures, I will contact you, the parents, to discuss the behavior. If it continues after parent contact, a referral will be made and disciplinary action will be taken by the administration. This behavior plan is subject to change if needed.
Extra Credit: Extra credit is not available, but students will have an opportunity to earn bonus points.
Assignment Explanation Sheets: If a student fails to complete an assignment, they will be asked to fill out an Assignment Explanation Sheet. The AES gives the student an opportunity to explain why he/she did not complete the assignment. Students will sign the AES which states that they are fully aware that the failure to turn in the assignment will lower their overall class averages. The AES if filed in the students class folder, and can be accessed by parents upon request.
Student Folders: Every student will have a folder that will contain any disciplinary notices, assignment explanation sheets, parental correspondence, student information sheets, etc…. Parents may view these folders as needed.
