Directions:Take I-25 north/south to Lincoln, exit and head east. Turn right onto Chambers. Stadium is approximately 2 miles down Chambers.

Team Entry Fee: $150for a single gender or $300 per school. Please make checks payable to Castle View Track. Please mail your entry fee to guarantee yourself a spot in the meet. Schools within Douglas County can submit funds to account code 26-339-15-1890-1791-000-0000-0-2000.

Admission:Students $3; adults $5; athletes, coaches, CHSAA passes free

Meals: Coaches breakfast will be available prior to the meet. Five tickets for a coaches lunch will be provided.

Awards: Trophies for 1st place boys and girls teams.

Scoring: We will score the top 8 places per event (10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1).

Restricted Area: Filming by coaches and viewing of film by athletes will be restricted to the coaching boxes of the field events

Starting Heights: Heights may change at time of meet.

Additional Information

  1. Entries due Thursday March 20 at noon
  2. Track events: Finals-only format for all track events
  3. Field events: prelims & finals in field events (3 attempts in each; 10 to finals)
  4. No dressing rooms provided
  5. All-weather track and field event approach surfaces
  6. 3/16 inch spikes only
  7. Trainer will be available, located north of track
  8. Warm-up area is on the infield
  9. Field event participants report to event site
  10. Running events report to clerk at the northend of track
  11. Starting blocks are provided; bring your own batons
  12. Weigh-ins for shot and discus implements, and athletes competing in the pole vault located north of Track
  13. Jewelry and clothing restrictions will be enforced

Unified/Special Olympics events: We will host two events for disabled or Paralympic athletes. Please advertise these into any athletes on your team or in your school that may want to participate. There will be a 100m dash for them to compete in, as well as a softball throw. Perhaps most importantly we will have the softball throw in the middle of the infield to bring attention to the event. We will not completely shut down the infield of course, but all athletes should be advised to eliminate avoidable accidents.

Coaches Meeting: The coaches meeting will begin promptly at 8:15 a.m. in or around the locker rooms at north end of stands

End of Meet: Ribbons and trophies available in press box before you leave. CheckMaxpreps.com for final results. Head coaches will be emailed final results.

Make-up if cancelled: There will be no scheduled make-up day for this meet. Should the event be canceled all teams will receive full refunds.

Entries: Dueat noon (12pm) Thursday March 20. Each school is allowed 3 entries in individual events and 1 relay team per relay race. Enter your athletes for the meet on No substitutions, only subtractions on Saturday morning.
