B Lodge & garden
Refurbishment work on B Lodge continuing.
Extraction/Plant Area
Plant area stripped of overburden and plant in place and in commissioning phase. Office/weighbridge and mess facilities and staff parking in place. PROW fencing in place to direct users away from the site.
Planting & Screening
Hedgerow on northern boundary adjacent Bund 7 and planting of groups of trees along BW20, required before end of planting season. Concrete airfield road removed adjacent to Bund 7.
Water Management
Two silt lagoons have been formed and a fresh water lagoon. Additional fresh water drainage lagoon being created in the north of the site, this is within the NMA. Water from dig being dewatered into River Roding, query as to whether this should require a discharge licence from EA.
