iv)Changes moving forward will come from understanding the data fully
v)Teachers will be working through data once it is explained
b)Discipline
i)Without viewing the finalized data, it seems suspensions are down from last year
ii)EC committee is working together with the SLT leadership to implement augmented discipline consideration for EC students, in consideration of federal disproportionality concerns
iii)Identification of students that are “chronically” truant and consequences accordingly
(1)Notifying teachers of these students
(2)Actionable item: remind teachers of their access to the Google Drive document which outlines student discipline (transparency and open communication)

b)This will affect the master schedule and course offerings

i)Concerted attempt: verified
ii)Initial mastery percentage: 84%
iii)Following additional practice, students may obtain up to 93% on a re-assessment
iv)Percentage breakdown of classwork/assessments: Should be consistent across all CMS schools
v)A minimum of 5 formal assessments should be included in the final grade for a course
vi)Feedback: potential barriers of the current draft of the CMS Grading Plan:
(1)Number of off-grade level students at our school for any number of reasons
(2)Definition of “mastery” is too loose
