Family Information

The De-Su prefix dominates many of the female and male genomic lists plus the Top 100 TPI List. ABS has worked with this cow family for near 15 years. ABS active bulls GILLESPY, HISTORY, GAYLIN, GRANDMASTER, GWEEDO and VENTURA plus Primetime bulls BRAUN, NIRVANA and SALADO all stem from the Georgia family at De-Su Holsteins. Patron Gold lived to over ten years of age and produced over 200,000 lifetime. She was a tremendous silky dairy cow with an excellent udder. Patron Gold’s most famous daughter is BWM Georgia EX-90 2E who also lived to over ten years of age and produced over 175,000 lifetime. Unlike her mother, Georgia has flushed extremely well, as she has one EX, 17 VG and 25 GP daughters to date. NAVARRO’s dam is a beautiful BOLTON daughter that is still in the De-Su herd today and should score EX with the next visit from the classifier. His second dam was a VG Manager daughter that lasted multiple lactations and is the full sister to 29HO13390 GLEE. One thing that has impressed me about the Georgia family is no matter what bull was used on the family, the resulting daughters always have good udders and they age gracefully. ABS has invested heavily into this successful commercial family and great results are showing.

Daughter Information

NAVARRO daughters are outstanding in feet and legs and udder composites. These taller framed daughters have a slightly straighter set to the hock, track straight when viewed from behind and have great depth of heel. The mammary systems on NAVARRO daughters are built to last. Carried well above the hock, udders have strong fore attachments with really high, wide rear attachments and a strong center cleft.

BEAU daughters are sure to catch your eye

Mating Information

NAVARRO will run well in herds using the following GMS options: Durability and CM$.
