Sinclair Lewis Campground

The Sinclair Lewis Campground is a 27.2 acre specialized recreational area located near downtown Sauk Centre on the Northwest side of the community. The campground is located east of Hickman Drive along the South shore of Sauk Lake. Sinclair Lewis Park borders the campground on the east side. The campground is open for the season from May 1st to October 1steach year, weather permitting. The campground currently has 80 sites, 46 sites with full hookup which include water, sewer and electricity and 30 sites with water and electricity only and 4 primitive sites. All campsites contain a fire pit. Three sets of restrooms are contained within the campground with two having showers. Other amenities include: picnic tables, storm shelter, dump station, fish cleaning house, lake access with boat ramp and docks, pop machine, playground access and a wireless hotspot.

Nightly/Weekly $30.00/daily $175/weekly

Seasonal Rate $1,800

A one night deposit is required and must be paid immediately.

Deposit is non-refundable.

Non-reserved sites are first come first serve.



CAMPGROUNDRULES

-Checkout time is 12:00 p.m.

-Camping at numbered sites only.

-Units will be parked in designated parking spaces only with the location approved by the Campground Attendant.

-One unit allowed per site, per StearnsCounty. (Exception: Only the minor children of the site renters are allowed to sleep in a tent on the site. No children under 10 years of age are allowed at the site without adult supervision.

-Units must maintain a 10 foot clearance from other units per StearnsCounty.

-Maximum length of unit that can be accommodated for is 40 feet.

-All animals must be leashed & thoroughly cleaned up after and not left unattended.

-11:00p.m. curfew. QUIET TIME!

-Campfires in designated fire rings only. Only certified firewood may be used, which can be purchased on site or from a local certified vendor.

-DO NOT leave fire rings unattended, extinguish before leaving.

-Fish cleaning in Fish Cleaning House only. A $3.00 fee is recommended and is limited to the occupants of the campground and residents of the City of Sauk Centre.

-Light strings and clotheslines must be hung at a minimum of 8 feet for safety.

-New in 2017! Internet access with a variety of plans to choose from.
