Signups/safety tech will begin 1:30 before drivers meeting.

*Driver and karts must be signed up and pass safety tech before driver meeting.

* late sign ups or late safety tech will start in the tail in both heat races.

*In the event that a driver wishes to switch karts after sign ups and safety tech has closed, that driver will start on the tail of all participating races for the event.

Drivers meeting

The drivers meeting is MANDATORY. If you are not at the drivers meeting you will start on the tail for both heat races.

Hotlaps

Hotlaps will last for 30 minutes and will be open to all classes, with exception to the restrictor plate and the opens they will hotlaps with their class.

Classes and running order

* Drivers need to be staged (2) classes early.

* Heat races (2) per class

*(3) or more karts equal a class classes maybe add or removed based on kart count.

Tech

*Top (3) finishers must weigh and report to impound after heat/ feature races.

* Akra tech procedures will follow: fuel/oil will be t echoed by various means and all gasoline should be (87 octane)

*In the event of a disqualification, the next drivers in the finishing order will move up into that position.

* Non- protested- tech- only track officials/ tech officials and drivers permitted in the tech building.

*protested tech $150.00

* $50.00 to the tech official, $100.00 to the protester, if found legal or $100.00 back to the protesters if found illegal.

* If caught cheating you will lose all points loose points, if caught twice, u will be banned from that class for the year.

Payouts/ Points

*100% payout

*points will be awarded for any class with 3 or more karts.

* Minimum of 10 points scoring event for a class to be eligible for a track championship.

*In order to receive points, the driver and kart must take the green flag in the feature under its own power. Points will be awarded for finishing position regardless of DNF.

*The Driver scoring the most points at the end of the season in any class will be awarded the overall track champion.

On track conduct drivers/officials

*Unsportsmanlike conduct can result in disqualification from the event.

*Drivers must yield to all flags

*2 laps will be given to make field

* Once the race has started drivers can not join or rejoin the race.

*2 attempts will be given for a double file start, then 1 attempt at a single file start. If the race still cannot be started, the class will be sent off the track and will return at the end of the session.

Off Track conduct

* Anyone at the event will be given 1 warning for unsportsmanlike conduct, and will be asked to leave after the 2nd offense

*In the event that there is a 3rd offense during the same season that person will be banned from all activities.

Absolutely No Driving in the pits. This will result in a automatic disqualification of the event.

  1. Enter at your own risk.
  1. No guns or weapons of any kind allowed on premises.
  1. No possession or consumption of alcoholic beverages or drugs on the premises. Violators will be asked to leave with no refund.
  1. No glass allowed on property.
  1. No rough driving on the track. No foul language or fighting in the pits, on the track, or on the property. This is a family friendly park where children are present. Please respect this in your actions, words, and behavior.
  1. No littering. Litterers will be asked to leave with NO refunds.
  1. Not responsible for lost or stolen items or damage to vehicles, property, or injury to person(s). Not responsible for accidents of any kind.
  1. Yield to pedestrians and racers at all times.
  1. Racing is VERY LOUD. Debris can fly from karts or other type of vehicles. Ear and eye damage can occur without ear and eye protection.
  1. Minors must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
  1. Driver is responsible for pit crews and will be held liable. Violation of these rules can result in disqualification for the night, 2 week ejection or rest of year or permanent. No refunds.
  1. Track officials have final say in all matters. Do not stop or come on the track to complain, you will be asked to leave.
  1. All drivers meetings are mandatory.
  1. NO driving of the karts in the pits at any time.
  2. If caught cheating you will be disqualified-no refunds.
  1. Full body cover, racing suit (recommended) or jacket of leather or abrasion resistant material, full length jeans, neck brace, gloves and acceptable WKA helmet with face shield required at all times. If caught with a helmet not fastened, you are disqualified for the night.
  1. Maximum of 16-18 karts in all features. Driver is allowed to race in two classes per night.
  1. We run a consolation race if there are more than 18 karts in a class. This will run after the heat races.
  1. Finishing order of the 2 heat races will determine the feature line up.
  2. In order to receive points or money you must finish the race feature.
  1. You must know when it's your turn to race. You must be on time and be ready to race.
  1. Once a class has been released on the track the race will be held up 2 laps to let all karts start. You must be in the grid trying to start. No one can enter after green flag has flown. Once you leave the track, (including going to the infield) you may not re-enter. Once you leave your vehicle/kart, and/or remove your helmet, you may not re-enter the race.
  1. All weights must be painted white.
  1. If you stop under green or yellow you will go to the tail unless you stopped to avoid an accident, OR stopped to alert track official of track or kart issue.
  1. If a driver spins out and intentionally causes a re-start, he/she will be disqualified.(flagman's decision).
  1. Every kart must complete one lap without caution or there will be a complete restart. After 2 attempts, we will go single file.
  1. Driver or crew will not be allowed to work on karts on the track, unless permitted by officials.
  1. Drivers must shut off engines before approaching the scales. Do not drive across scales!!!
  1. No bumping or rough driving will be tolerated!!!
  1. Must have 4 visible number plates. Front, back and both sides. Number should be 6" tall.
  1. All steering components and brake components must be cotter keyed or safety pinned.
  1. All axles must be cotter keyed, safety pinned or snap ringed.
  1. Nothing can protrude past outside edge of tires on any kart.
  1. Steering fairings must be mounted 3" from steering wheel. Not allowed in plated classes.
  1. No radios of any kind.
  1. No cash refunds after hot laps have started. After both heats and it's a rain out-We have the right to pay out according to feature line up. Weather permitting, we have the right to race one heat and feature.
  1. Red flag - please don't come out on track.
  1. Must race at least 60% of the season in your points class to qualify for points awards. The class must be ran 60% of season to be considered a points class. Not all classes are points classes.
  1. If you lose something (fuel cap, neck collar, etc) during a race/event, you are disqualified for that event.
  1. We do not allow coolers, outside food, pop of any kind.
  1. If you have an injury, you must fill out an accident report the same night.
  1. If you jump the start, you will be charged with a caution.
  2. Every kart must leave on their 2nd caution, or 3rd caution in Features.
  3. $125 protest in stock classes. Must be in top 3 to protest.
  1. Open tire rule.
  1. 2015 AKRA and WKA engine rules apply.
  2. UTV's can be a Maximum Width of 64"
  3. The Driver and Passenger must have a 4 Point Harness secured at All Times.
  4. Must have Full Roll Cages, Working Kill Switches, Fire Extinguisher Mounted and Easily Removed.
