Significant increase in sales for award-winning UK Point of Sale
28 January 2013: Following another successful year,UK Point of Sale, based in Stockport, is celebrating a 12% like for like increase in export sales, the largest increase since the company was founded over 20 years ago.
The company, which manufactures acrylic and PVC sign holders, leaflet dispensers, pavement signs and over 3,000 other products, has also seen overall sales increase by 21% since January last year, and has experienced a further boost to salessincewinning the turnover under £10 million award at the recent Manchester Evening News Business of the Year awards.
The news comes ahead of the company’sdevelopment of a multi-million pound manufacturing and distribution site in 2013, and following the launch of its new website in January.

“We are delighted to have seen a significant rise in sales over the past year, as well as increased export orders, as we are looking to continue growing the business overseas in 2013. Recent CBI figures indicate that sales on the high street rose towards the end of 2012, which means that consumer confidence is hopefully increasing, which in turn means the confidence of our customers, specifically in the retail sector, is on the rise.
