This order disposes of the captioned application of Shri Rajesh Sood, C-22, Pocket – 1, Kendriya Vihar II, Sector 82, Noida, Pin – 201304transferred by Govt of India, Ministry of Finance, Dept of Financial Services vide their letter F. No.25/84/2014-IF-II dated July 15, 2014 under section 6(3) of the RTI Act, 2005 and received by the office of CPIO, SIDBI, on July31, 2014. The information seeker has desired to know various information regarding empanelment of advertising agencies by Public Sector Banks (PSBs) and Financial Institutions (FIs) in the background that few of PSB and FI are insisting on points which are irrelevant for empanelment of advertising agencies like experience of advertising with PSB, FI; hence very carefully stopping the entry of very experienced, competent agencies in panel of banks etc.
