To receive a presentation by David Kilby – Shropshire Playing Fields Association
- QUARRY
To receive an update from the Outdoor Recreation & Assets Manager on the following matters involving the Quarry:
(i) Update of events in the Quarry for 2014.
(ii) Future Play Provision in the Quarry
- SHREWSBURY IN BLOOM
To receive an update on both the Regional & National Judging.
- RECREATION GROUND MATTERS
To consider the following matters relating to Recreational Sites:
(i) Springfield Recreation Ground – to update on repairs to the Roof Soffits
(ii) County Ground Pavilion:
- to seek an in principle agreement for a formal lease to allow the group of resident sports clubs to begin to seek the necessary funding to extend the Pavilion
- To update members on the ECB Clubmark Accreditation
(iii) Boiler House Pitch – To seek permission for the temporary use of the site as a Helicopter Landing Pad for the Air Ambulance during upgrades to the Hospital Helicopter Pad
(iv) Monkmoor Recreation Ground – To update members on the Lawn Tennis Association’s interest in the site and wish to create a Centre of Excellence
- WWI COMMEMORATIONS
To receive an update on the initiatives the Town Council is involved in between 2014-2018.
- MARKETS
To receive an update by the Outdoor Recreations & Assets Manager on the work of the general market including general arrangements, uptake, waiting lists and involvement in wider events
- COMMUNITY ACTION DAYS
To review the Town Council’s involvement in multi-agency Community Days over the coming months
