Activity Description
What is the objective of your writing activity? (Does it support the overall objectives of your chosen lesson?)
(1)Students will be able to collaboratewhen theycreate their stories in their groups.
(2)This activity enforces students to be a creative writer by adding stories each other using the expressions what they’ve learned in the English class.
(3)Students could be “peer tutors” for each other when they work on the English story.
(4)Students will be able to improve writing skills and reading skills as well.
(5)Students will be able to help different level of peers during the activity.
List steps required to perform this activity.
(1)Teacher provides students papers and different colorof pencils for each group. (Groups of 4~6)
(2)Teacher presentsa part of story to motivate students with a movie clip or storytelling.
(3) Each group writesone sentence for their story based on teacher’s story.
(4)When teacher plays music or show sign, students pass their papers around to the next group.
(5)Students add up a line to other groups’ story with their imagination.
(6)After running around 2~3 times, they get their original paper and present it to whole class.
(7)Students listen and vote for the most interesting story.
