Terms and Conditions

I,______am duly authorized to sign the terms and conditions of the SASA SHB application on behalf of ______SHBI hereby confirm that all information contained in our application or renewal thereof, is true and correct and that the SHB will be bound by the terms and conditions of registration as set out below.

  1. The members of the Show Holding Body guarantees payment of all amounts owing by the Show Holding Body to SASA.
  2. If any such amounts are not paid by the Show Holding Body to the Associationwhen due, and are not paid within 7 days after written final demand of such payment, then the Show Holding Body will be placed in bad standing and the process of de-registration will commence.
  3. The Show Holding Body undertakes to be a portal to the sport by offering Showing events on behalf of SASA and providing that information to SASA.

The Show Holding Body indemnifies herewith SASA and its office bearers against all damages, losses, charges, costs, damages and all other expenses and liability that may be incurred by any member, office bearer or competitor due to an accident or any other incident that may occur during an equestrian show held by this show holding body.
  6. The Show Holding Body will at all times ensure that proper and comprehensive insurance is in place to cover all accident or incidents that may occur during an SASA show held by this show holding body.
  7. The Show Holding Body will ensure adherence to all safety regulations and legislation as is required for the holding of sporting events.
  8. That the show holding body agrees to comply with the requirements set out in all applicable laws, rules or regulations, and standards, as amended from time to time, including but not limited to, theSafety at Sports and Recreational Events Act, 2010(Act No. 2 of 2010), and the SANS Standard 10366 : 2012.
  9. All venues used by the Show Holding Body must be approved by SASA. Venues currently approved by SASA need not be inspected. All new venues must be inspected before approval is granted. Venue Check List available from SASA.
