Shirley Wulf Bio for The Center for Influential Leadership

Shirley Wulf is President of BehaviorSmarts, and an affiliate partner with the Center for Influential Leadership. As a teacher/student of living and leading with value-based intention and purpose, her goal is to help individuals become remarkable leaders and lead meaningful lives. Through her training and coaching, she assists leaders to increase their leadership presence and capacity by becoming aware andintentional about their own values, purpose, focus, andbehaviors. Shirley utilizes a systematic, programmatic approach that enables leaders to get greater results through developing trust, connection, collaboration and accountability within their teams and organizations.

Shirley’s passion for seeing and developing the best in others comes from knowing firsthand what an extraordinary difference this can make in one’s life. As coach and trainer, she is skilled at getting to the heart of a matter, while maintaining a caring, professional and tactful approach. Previously Shirley worked with a leadership development firm in Atlanta and spent over 26 years with Roche, a worldwide leading pharmaceutical company where she gained wide-ranging experience in leadership, people development and cross functional management.

Shirley holds a degree in Business, a coaching certification from the iPEC coaching academy, is a credentialed coach through the International Coach Federation (ICF) and a registered corporate coach through the World Association of Business Coaches (WABC). Shirley is also certified in numerous assessments including Emotional Intelligence through the HayGroup, DiSC Profile Assessments, Profiles International Assessments, Critical Conversations, and the Influential Leader Program through The Center for Influential Leadership. Shirley currently serves on the executive board of the Atlanta Chapter of the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association (HBA) and is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE).

Shirley’s training approach is fun, interactive and encourages participants to reflect, learn and grow both professionally and personally. As a facilitator and coach, she has worked with a variety of clients ranging from small entrepreneurial businesses to healthcare organizations to global corporations including Kaiser, Savient, Microsoft, Charlotte Area Health Education Center, Women’s Energy Network, West Virginia Oil and Natural Gas Association (WVONGA), The Myers Group, Niemann Interiors, Leigh Fibers and Carters.
