A “shout out” to the counseling department for completing 479 schedule changes in the first few weeks of school.
A big thank you goes out to the Building Services staff Mo Abduljabar and Kevin Hill for managing to bring in the 900-pound medical bed for the Medical Careers class.
A “shout out” also goes to the Media Center staff for a great September Edition of the Media Center Newsletter. We look forward to receiving these each month.
Next week, we will be celebrating homecoming with spirit week. Homecoming hall decoration will be on Thursday evening, October 27th. On Friday morning, students will have the opportunity to view the homecoming hall decorations. There will also be a Pep Rally on Friday afternoon.
A Big thank you to the Debate Team for the spirited election debate held on Friday. The Ertzman was filled with engaged students who were passionate about the topics being addressed.
A big thank you to Beth Bonita for updating the bulletin board in the copy room near the main gym. It hasn’t been updated for quite a while and looks awesome.
Congratulations to Shelley Jackson who finished her first triathlon on September 24th.
Congratulations to Seniors Dylan Richter and Mathlyan Zewdie who took part in Montgomery County’s Debate League competition on September 28th and won both rounds.
A “shout out” to Jennifer Jones, who not only takes care of our students, but she also takes care of the staff. Thank you for organizing the flu shots and for the goodies.
Chris Goodrich is directing “Zombie Prom” which is now playing at the Randolph Road Theatre in Silver Spring. It runs Thursdays-Sundays through October 30th.
