Everything should be in your own words. Only Internet printouts allowed are for the visual aid.

  3. Symptoms
  4. How do you get the disorder? – how spread, cause, how/why develop, risk factors, etc.
  5. How is the disorder diagnosed/detected? – what tests run, etc.
  6. Treatment(s) of the disorder – prognosis?
  7. At least ONE visual aid – illustration, picture, photograph, graph, etc. (Internet print out allowed here) – if your project is electronic, good to use visual aids on most slides
  8. Minimum of 3 references – book, article, Internet

Grading Rubric:

  1. Neatness, use of space or slide – 5 pts
  2. Size of poster or correct trifold or powerpoint – 4 pts
  3. Appearance (colorful) – 4 pts
  4. Easy to read – 5 pts
  5. Spelling, grammar, etc. – 5 pts
  6. Name of the disorder – 5 pts
  7. Description – 12 pts
  8. Symptoms– 12 pts
  9. How spread/cause/risk factors – 12 pts
  10. Diagnosis/detection/tests – 12 pts
  11. Treatment(s) – 12 pts
  12. Visual aid – 12 pts

If plagiarize or copy information, lose 5 points per category. If no literature cited, lose up to 10 points.
