We will have the Advisory Period on Tuesday, April 12 since report cards will be distributed next week. Next week, the advisory period will be on Friday, April 22 so we can distribute report cards.
The College Fair will be held on Monday, April 18th at 6:30 pm. Juniors will attend the MCPS College Fair in Gaithersburg on Wednesday, April 20.
Seniors who applied to Montgomery College by March 1, 2016 will be taking the MC Accuplacer on April 27, 2016. The makeup date will be April 28, 2016.
Senior Student Athletes continuing their athletic career at the collegiate level should see Ms. Green in K165 for inclusion in the SHS-Warrior Club Student Athlete Signing Day Ceremony on May 5, 2016 at 11:30 am in the Main Gym.
Congratulations to Sean McTernan and Madison Lilly who have been awarded paid summer positions at the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Lab. They will continue to work on airport security for the Department of Homeland Security.
Congratulations to Coach Steel and the Varsity Boy’s Lacrosse program for earning their 200th win since Lacrosse became an MCPS Varsity sport in 1997. Sherwood has had 46 1st or 2nd team all-county player selections and 6 All-Americans.
Congratulations to Brendan Lees for being named the 2015-2016 All Met Girls’ Swimming Coach of the Year. This is the first time in school history that a Swimming Coach has been named All Met Coach of the Year. Congratulations to Senior Morgan Hill for being name to the 2015-2016 Swimming 1st Team All Met. The 400 year freestyle relay team of Morgan Hill, Sophia Ryan, Margarita Ryan and Jaimy Wenhold was named 2nd Team All Met.
Congratulations to Kamari Williams for being named the MCPS 4A/3A East Rookie of the Year and Ty Wiliams for being named to the MDPS 4A/3A East Division First Team.
