Airspace studies are required by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for changes to the Airport Layout Plan (ALP) and for the use of construction equipment. The FAA processes airspace study applications for conformance with environmental regulations and to determine if the project will have an impact on air operations, navigation aids or radio transmissions. Each application will require a minimum of 60 days for FAA review. A construction permit cannot be issued before the Building Official receives the airspace study from the FAA.

Attach to this application, a project location map and a site plan illustrating key coordinate points for site perimeter, building perimeter and other site improvements such as light poles and signs. Complete Pages 2 and 4 pertaining to air emissions and Page 3 for key coordinate points. To obtain base map and other information, contact Naresh Shahani at (972) 973-1772 or email to .
