Sherwood Celtic Music Festival & Highland Games I

The Competition will be held September 20 & 21, 2014. It will be an open class competition for Amateur Men, Women, and Masters. Basically show up and throw I will combine the class scores on NASGA from both Saturday and Sunday. So it will be one continuous flight throughout the day with a potential mix of men and women. So if your schedule permits, pick your day Saturday or Sunday and come have some fun, throw and maybe even learn a few things.

Footing…as many of you know the McDade, TX area is sand which is not conducive to staying on your feet if you happen to throw further back in the lineup than 1st. So, to help alleviate that, your throwing surface will be plywood so spikes and cleats are not advisable.

Saturday, September 20th Competition: Sign-in 9:30am and begin throwing promptly at 10:00 am. This is an open class competition with one flight. We will alternate in the weights as needed for masters and women.

Sunday, September 21st, Competition: Sign-in 9:30am and begin throwing promptly at 10:00 am. This is an open class competition with one flight. We will alternate in the weights as needed for masters and women.

All Pre-registered athletes will be provided with 1 gate pass, water, Gatorade and shade. Registering on the field at the time of the games does not guarantee you will secure a throwing spot as the field is limited and may befull.
