Enjoy two overnights at the historic Sheep Mountain Lodge http://sheepmountain.com/ in group cabins and ski on area trails with fabulous scenery all around. This amazing trail system was started by miners 50 years ago, and today they are maintained by Sheep Mountain Lodge. Ski on 24 km groomed non-motorized trails or beyond on 60 mi of multi-use trails at Sheep Mountain Saturday and Sunday. On Monday, ski out to Matanuska Glacier along Caribou Creek.

We hope Sheep Mountain will be covered by snow! But if interested in the amazing geology of this unique area, here is some information: https://pubs.usgs.gov/of/2006/1124/of2006-1124.pdf

We will be lodging as a group European style in 4 cabins. There are Queen beds and sofa sleepers. Bring ear plugs J. There is a lodge hot tub located in the shower room. A $50 deposit to hold a spot is required by February 8.

The lodge will be open for delicious home cooked food from Lunch Friday through lunch Sunday. You may choose to eat in the lodge or cook in the full kitchen cabin. Several beers are on tap. We will be on our own for food Sunday night and Monday. We will cook group food for Sunday dinner, Monday breakfast and Monday lunch. We expect the charges to be about $75 for the cost of rooms and three group meals.
