The Blue Book of Gun Values will be used to determine barrel length on handguns that are in question. The same ammunition restrictions apply to the compact class.

Course of Fire:

The course of fire will consist of shooting 4 tables of 5 pins per table. Table one will be set at 10 yards, table two will be set at 15 yards, three at 20 yards and four at 25 yards. Each pin knocked over will earn 10 points. The shooter may use up to 6 shots to hit the 5 pins. If the shooter is able to knock over all 5 pins with 5 shots they may either take 5 points for their 6th shot or they may take a shot at a swing steel target at 50 yards for 25 points. The shooter will have 10 seconds to knock over the pins on each table. If they knock over all 5 pins they will have 10 seconds to take their 6th shot at the steel target. If the shooter needs to reload to take the sixth shot they must do it in the 10 seconds allotted to shoot the steel target. The range will be a COLD RANGE. Only the shooters at the line and shooting in that relay will have there pistols loaded. Shooters must follow range master commands at all times. If a cease fire is called or the whistle is blown all shooters are to stop shooting IMMEDIATELY and listen for directions from the rangemaster. Failure to follow any range command will result in a DQ from the match, and may result in other sanctions.
