1 / Session 1: The role of Accreditation in Halal Industry / The Aim of the first Session to Highlight the Importance of Accreditation in building Confidence of Certified Halal Products by accrediated certification bodies as part of Trade Facilitating. During this session, Multiple International Accreditation bodies will showcase the practice of How the Accreditation Schemes work, it is process, tips to prepare for effective assessment, the expected timeframe of getting accredited, mutual recognition of accreditation schemes and certification.
The Accreditation bodies, will share their experience to define the process of accreditation and how to display competency in implementing the accreditation and certification standards.
2 / Session 2: Stepping Forward: Halal Standards and Certification / The Aim of the Second session is to provide an information on different Halal Standards hot topics. The session will discuss the importance of Harmonizing Standards, The pathway to get accredited, showcase experience of Companies will were able to shift smartly to Halal Manufacturing and The process of Certification. During the session, challenges and opportunities will be discussed and an overall assessment of how this certification scheme will liaise facilitating Trade on global Practice.
3 / Session 3: Smart transition to Halal Manufacturing / During this session, the manufacturers will present the benefits of transiting to Halal industry and attract more private companies to participate in the 1.3 billion dollar market. The principle of Halal will be discussed alongside by good and wrong practices will be discussed to provide the major tips of complying with Halal requirement. A comprehensive detailing of Halal requirement during the production process such as Supply chain, storing, logistic requirement, raw material and stages of production.
