Description:The aim of the project was to create software that would consist of keeping a record of the sales and purchase of the products created by some other companies while also assigning them the appropriate certification based on their quality. The company using this system managed the product certifying process and hence provided quality assurance and the details to the clients interested in buying the various listed products. The clients had access to the details of the products such as their type, quality etc., in order to decide if they wanted to purchase the particular product and hence could send their quotation.

Brief description of the Project:

Align Technology Ltd. had a Payroll Change Notification workflow process to be automated.

The process involved an InfoPath form which was published on a SharePoint site. The workflow was designed in K2.NET.

The form was submitted by an HR employee, on behalf of any employee of the company who wanted any change in his personal details or Payroll details. Thus, the PCN process was initiated. The form would then reach the HR Manager as per the workflow and after approval would flow through various people in 2 other departments. Finally, the completed form after approval by all the concerned departments was archived in a Share Point library.

The form then reached the Business Manager after whose approval it would go to various people such as Development Manager, Developer, SQA Manager, Staging Administrator, Change Control Board Committee, and Production Administrator etc. Finally, the completed form after approval by all the concerned departments was archived in a specific Share Point library.
