If you feel that it is something that warrents an extended amount of time please phone to make an appointment, you can also talk to us in the mornings or at hometime but please understand that we are not able to talk for a long time and we may ask you to make an appointment to see us in the afternoon. It is also possible to email us if you have a query –

THANK YOU

As a staff we would like to thank all of you for your very kind words and letters following the very unfortunate incident of the money being stolen. We are overwhelmed by your generosity in relation to giving money to cover the thief and can I say that to date we have received £97, this is in excess of the amount that was taken. I will be adding the extra money to the fund that we have started to develop the new grassed area. We really appreciated all your kindness – THANK YOU

World of Owls

We enjoyed an amazing visit from World of Owls on Friday, the children got the opportunity to meet a Barn Owl called Spangles, a baby Tawny Owl called Oscar and an Eagle Owl called Harley. Harley actually starred in a Harry Potter movie, imagine we were in the presence of a movie star!! Take a look at the photos of the visit on the television screen in the entrance hall.

Fir or Pine Cones

We would very much like some fir or pine cones for art projects over the next month. If you are out walking and find any please collect them and bring them into school for us!

Half Term Holiday

School will be closed from:

Wednesday 27th October –

Monday 1st November

(dates inclusive)

for our half-term break.

Please note that after the holiday, the school day will finish at 1.15pm. You may collect your child any time between 1.15pm and 1.30pm

ALL CHILDREN SHOULD BE COLLECTED BY 1.30PM

PLEASE NOTE –

After half term break the children will be starting their day in their story room with their teacher, this provides an opportunity to look at books, have a short chat with their friends and with their teacher. We would appreciate if all children were in school by 9.05am. We will be locking the front door at 9am and after that time you will have to buzz to gain entry to the building.

At collect time you will find that the children may be in their story room or in the classroom or in the garden at the back. Please come on into the school and get your child. We would appreciate if this message could be passed on to whoever will be collecting your child.
