Our students are encouraged to develop a love of learning which will serve them throughout their lives. Our mission is to meet each student’s needs -- spiritual, academic, physical, social, and emotional -- through a fiscally responsible program that recognizes the importance of stewardship in all its forms.

The 7th grade art students have been working extremely hard on a Claes Oldenburg inspired sculpture project. Who is Claes Oldenburg you ask? He is a professional pop artist; a pop artist is someone who presents popular culture as art; hence the name “pop art”. In class students had the freedom to choose their own pop object. And, wow, is there a variety! We have everything from a humongous Twinkie to a gigantic can of shaving cream. The students all agree this project has been hard work so far but they will also tell you that it has been a labor of love.
