ServSafe Food Protection Manager (Level 2) Training Course!!
March 1, 2017was the deadline for each food facility licensed as a class III or IV must have one person certified with Level 2 Food Safety Management Training. This training will provide you with 15 hours of classroom instruction on food safety. Once you receive a passing score on the exam, we will submit your results to the Ohio Department of Health and they will issue you an Ohio Certification stating you have been through the training.
This is what is required under the new updated law, not just the ServSafe certificate. Any food facility sited with 3 violations for not obtaining this certification will result in a Formal Administrative Hearing. An Administrative Hearing can result in license suspension or revocation.
If you currently have Level 2 training, please make sure your proctor submitted your score to the Ohio Department of Health and that you received your Ohio Certification. For more information on this visit,
