Parish Gift for BishopGeoff Peddle

At the Consecration of Bishop Geoff on Friday evening, he received an episcopal ring. The Parish of the Good Shepherd, the Church of the Ascension and the Cathedral Parish purchased this gift for him. The People’s Wardens presented our Bishop with his ring on behalf of the people of thethree parishes.

2014 Church Calendars are still available from the table outside the church office. Cost: $5.00.

Bring your “Canadian Tire Money” to Church

We will be saving Canadian Tire Money and using it to purchase things for the Church. There is a box just outside the kitchen door. Please place your Canadian Tire Money there.

Arctic Char Dinner Tickets are still available. This annual dinner will take place January 25, 2014. Tickets are $25 each. As reported in last week’s bulletin we are presently having a supply problem with the arctic char. Therefore, this annual dinner will be serving salmon for this year only. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. In light of this change full refunds are available.

HELP NEEDED for Salmon Dinner Preparations

Friday, January 24 at 9 am. Come and help peel vegetables, prepare, fish - lend a hand and have lunch too! We also need help on Saturday, January 25 for setting tables and preparing the Reid Centre.

Ladies Night Monday, January 27 from 7:30 – 9:30 pm. More details to follow.

63rdAnnual Kiwanis Music Festival will be held February 16-28, 2014. The Festival Committee is currently seeking volunteers to help out.
