MINUTES

- Erin Yates called the meeting to order.
- Members introduced themselves.
- On a motion by Ed Bain, seconded by Sharon Root, the May minutes were approved.
- Tina Stephens, the new SOAR representative presented on the SOAR project. She shared the process. She will be creating a tool to prioritize people that are referred to her to ensure she is working with the most vulnerable. She hopes to keep a 12 person caseload. - Rob Hull provided a CCR update, meetings are still held 1st & 3rd Wednesdays of the month, contact him if you want to be on the agenda. The CCR will need a new location starting in August.
- TJACH SPC reps provided an update on the May TJACH Governance Board meeting which was the interviewing and hiring of the new Executive Director, Erin Yates. The FY17 budget has been reviewed and is prepared to be approved at the next meeting.
- SPC Elections – rousing discussion and lots of nominations for the SPC Representative slots on the TJACH governance board.

- Sharon thanked Kaki for her service to the community and excited that she will continue to come to the SPC meetings
- Shout out to Tina Stephens for taking on the SOAR position and excited at the opportunities that will come. It is also exciting to have the Health Department so involved.
- Congratulations to Erin on her new role at TJACH ED
- Good luck and congratulation to Hugo who will be moving on to oversees the Support Services in the Tidewater area.
- Announcements
- The Neighborhood Family Health Center has opened their dental clinic. It is an expansion on the Free Dental Clinic. Clients will need to come to walk in hours at the medical clinic to get the dental voucher. It will work off the sliding scale and they hope to expand eventually.
- OOO continues their Synapse Hub every other Tuesday. To get on their invite list talk to Erin Tucker.
- OOO will be having a fundraiser at Kendra Scott on June 11 from 2-5.
- There is a celebration for all non-profits at the IX park today
