Serve the Banquet West Side Meal
Tuesday, December 1, 2015
Dear Participant:
On Tuesday, December 1, 2015 Sioux Chapter - SDCA will serve The Banquet West side evening meal. This will be a new experience for us as we will be going to the West side of Sioux Falls to serve. We have listed below the specific details for your information. Please make sure you read this carefully so everything can go as planned.
The Banquet has expanded to the West side. The new location is at the north end of the Sioux Empire Fairgrounds – the Nordstrom-Johnson Multi-purpose building. We will need 25 volunteers to serve this meal. We will need 4 volunteers to help set up tables at 4:30 p.m. and 4 volunteers to follow the truck back to the Banquet to help unload. We do not prepare this meal as it is all done at the Banquet and trucked over to the west side. Volunteers must be 13 years old to work on the serving line or to pour beverages. Volunteers age 10-12 years old may wash tables and carry trays only. Children must be closely supervised by their parents at all times for their personal safety. There is a signup sheet if you are interested in helping. You can call Doug Hoisington at 321-4578 if you would like to help or have questions.
