Sequence/Directions (Details of how a to move through the activity from start to finish)

1. Gather materials.

2. Start by dipping a brush in a jar of water and then dab the brush to add water to the color(s) you will be using. This will make the color transfer onto the paper. Hint: be careful not too add to much water because it will become difficult to soak up the color.

3. Using another brush (or the same one if desired) start moving your hand/brush to create different strokes. Hint: mix colors to create new colors (red and yellow will create orange, blue and yellow will create green, red and blue will create purple). add water to colors to play with pigment. Many artists recommend starting with lightest colors first. When creating light colors add paint to a small puddle of water, rather than adding a wet paint brush to the paint. Rinse brushes if a color change is desired.

4. Create art.
