New Generations –Interact Club
We are fortunate here in Sedona Red Rocks High School to have an Interact Club being formed by both Rotarians and a teacher from the High School.
Interact met last week and the teacher is Miranda Howland. She is very excited to take on this Rotary Interact Club. 7 students attended and officers were chosen. Tami Loburis the Rotary Club of Sedona contact. She is sharing the duties with John Bradshaw from Red Rock Rotary Club. As one of their first interactive projects the students will participate in the Hwy. 89A clean up on Sept. 18th, 2010. The next Interact Club meeting is set for Sept. 15th, 2010. RI just lowered the age of interactor’s from 12 to 10 yrs, up to age 18.

  • September 18th, Sat. morning at 7:30am Hwy. 89A clean-up. Meet at the Cultural Park. Ron Larson has a sign up sheet. Brunch at Nick’s (formerly Keiser’s) afterward.
  • New member Fireside Chat fellowship 5:30pm Sept. 21st at Casa Contenta. Mandatory attendance required for new members & Board members. Drinks are provided, please bring a side dish.

  • Rotarian’s will be participating in a cancer walk “Relay for Life”. It takes place the evening of Friday Sept. 24th, 2010. The activities and entertainment are at the track of Red Rock High School. Make sure you turn in your participation registration sheet into Eddie Passov.
  • Sedona Suppers is back! Dates, hosts and diners are being recruited with a sign up sheet coordinated by Bill Minard. This is a great tradition for our club and is a great for fellowship beyond our club meetings.
  • PDG Ray Meighan's Memorial Services will be held on,
