Senior Water and Wastewater Engineer Consultant
Simmonds & Bristow (Est. 1965) is a leading environmental and engineering consulting service and RTO, with its Head Office located in Brisbane.
We help people make good clean water throughout Australia, with special emphasis in looking after small and remote communities, from mines, industry and resorts, to rural towns and indigenous communities.
We are seeking a talented, experienced process engineer who is dedicated to providing high quality, value for money engineering services, to join our team of professionals in Brisbane as Senior Water and Wastewater Engineer Consultant.
The successful applicant will ideally hold a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, be an RPEQand have a minimum of 10 years post graduate experience in Water, Sewage & Wastewater treatment plant design or operation. You will also be conversant with the practical application of geochemistry, chemistry and industrial/applied chemistry from base principles through to applied concepts.
The ideal candidate would also have extensive experience in plant auditing, P & ID's, environmental water and drinking water quality and compliance, and experience in sediment and erosion control would be beneficial. You must have working knowledge of BIOWIN and AutoCAD. Experience in MEDLI, Hydrus, Esdat, and other modelling programs would be seen as an added advantage. You will also need to have excellentproject management, communication skills, business development acumen and leadership skills and have an experienced eye for detail, ability at identifying work opportunities and enthusiasm for mentoring and peer advice.

You will be an Australian Citizen/Residentand hold a Current clean driving license.
Previous experience in consulting industrywill be a distinct advantage.
