Position Summary

The Senior Compensation Analyst will provide the system administration and analytical reporting for the compensation team. You’ll be responsible for all analysis on broad based compensation structures and processes including base, bonus, and equity plans. You’ll serve a critical role as expert in our driver pay database. Also, you will provide analytical support to the compensation group in the areas of salary administration, bonus administration, and wage equity administration, job evaluations, market surveys and wage analysis.

Responsibilities

Compensation System Administration

-Use technical knowledge to ensure Compensation Workbench, Manager Self Service, and other compensation databases are accurate, efficiently operating, and updated timely.

-Troubleshoot user issues and create solutions for common errors.

-Provide daily support for clients.

-Collaborate with HR and IT functional groups to create and maintain tools and training.

-Partner with vendors and IT group in the development, testing, and rollout of new integrations, interfaces, and upgrades.

-Provide data analyst support for issues and projects.

-Develop ad hoc and custom reports for client teams.

-Other projects asassigned by supervisor

Compensation Consultation

-Collaborate with the Area Human Resources Managers to provide guidance on total compensation solutions, off-cycle adjustments and reporting support.

-Conduct scheduled and ad-hoc market pricings and FLSA compliance evaluations for positions to include base, incentive and total cash compensation and communicate findings to managers.

-Compile job descriptions, position analysis questionnaires, conduct desk audits, job factor analysis, and new position justification.

-Conduct competitive wage and salary structures assessments, including geographic differentials. Review all wage and salary changes for conformance to policy. Conduct and participate in compensation surveys.

-Applies commonly used HR & Payroll concepts, practices & procedures to ensure data -accuracy of HR System.

-Assist in preparing annual salary and bonus target and budget preparation and reporting.

-5 or more years' professional work experience in compensation required

-BA/BS required, preferably in Accounting, Finance, or Business or related field

-Prior database and technical systems expertise required

-Demonstrated knowledge and use of Excel spreadsheets required

-Prior compensation experience and/or familiarity with Oracle Applications a plus.

-Excellent customer service focus

-Ability to work productively independently and in a team environment

-Innovative problem solver with strong analytical and decision making skills

-Strong written and verbal communication skills

-Capacity to learn quickly and adapt to change

-Willingness and ability to work extended hours when required

-Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening are required
