Additional Information

Exams / If any student has three exams scheduled for Thursday and/or Friday and feels that this is too difficult, please see Mr. Cosme.
The “English 12” exam is always schedule during Period 1. If you are required to take your Period 1 exam, in addition to your English 12 exam, you will be required to take that exam during your regular English Period time. For example, if you normally have English 12 during Period 3, your exam time will be Period 1 (8:00 – 9:35); If you have Math during Period 1, your exam time will be Period 3 (11:20 – 12:55).
Rehearsal / Any senior who plans to participate in Commencement must attend rehearsals. Be prepared to be outside and dress appropriately for the weather. If raining, please report to the gymnasium. Weather permitting, we will move outside to practice. Report cards or Senior Debt Memos will be distributed during rehearsal. Outstanding debts must be reconciled in order to receive final report card and diploma.
Rehearsal
“Rain Date” / If we are unable to go outside, we may need to schedule practice on the next day. This decision will be made before dismissal from practice. Attendance will be mandatory if practice is rescheduled.
Commencement / Seniors will report to the auditorium at 9:10 a.m. Approximate length of commencement is 1½ hours. Seniors will be given three (3) admission tickets during rehearsal in case commencement is held in the gymnasium. If held inside, admission will be by ticket only. Additional seating will be available in the auditorium, cafeteria, Large Group Instruction (LGI) and selected classrooms (signs will be posted). Close circuit television and air conditioning will be available in these designated areas. Video taping of commencement will be permitted. We will not accommodate special arrangements. Please show concern for others as you use photography equipment. Access to the field for video or photography will be limited to authorized professionals and the press. Professional photographers will do a photo of each student receiving his/her diploma.
