A. Doc checked to make sure the GPA discussion had passed.

  2. Association of Information Technology Professionals
  3. for technology related majors and minors, can help school unity by showing how technology effects business
  4. offering Tutoring
  5. volunteering with Helping Hands
  6. Questions
  7. Doc asked about the interest meeting
  1. has 20 members both grad and undergrad
  2. Geoff moves to close discussion
  3. They are chartered.
  1. Board Reports
  2. Programs – finished Haiti benefit concert. Working on Freshman event with help of Junior Class. Sophomores doing Stunt Night. Seniors completed Crusader Nights
  3. External Relations – 2 resolutions in the works,
  4. Internal Concerns – still working on restructure – will propose tonight.
  5. PR – getting SGA business cards, and SGA supports the CRU tshirts

  7. Constitution Restructure –Tommy
  8. Emailed the Senate on Friday the restructure proposal
  9. Casey: what are the Vice Presidents duties?
  10. They will now include the internal senators roles of elections and …
  11. Andrew: would the chaplains in reaching out take on more roles or have help
  12. we can make those accommodations for help during reaching out
  13. Alyssa asked for one of the new items to be restated
  14. all vps will now be under the interal vice presidents board
  15. We are not trying to cut down sga, but to make us more manageable so that we can appoint other people to better represent all of campus

  17. Casey asks if after this we will be adding additional positions
  18. yes, this will be a long process and this is just the first step.
  19. Will these new members be appointed or voted on
  20. Appointed by the Senate, could still express their opinion and take a vote, be representative of their organization rather than a class.
  21. Shaina- has there been interest expressed by people groups to have a voice in SGA?
  22. several people like athletes and grad students have shown interest

  25. Programs and Publicity will combine to one role

  27. If we move to add these student group positions what is the benefit?
  28. They will have more of a voice and we will be more unified
  29. Amanda – will these new members have requirements and take the oath
  30. Yes they will be a full sga member, but not the responsibilities to their class

  11. MyCampus – the resolution provided good suggestions, will be reviewed by Oldham and we will know when a decision has been made
  12. Lori – proposes we make a bill for a reusable cup in the sub that
  13. Amanda – can you use the same cup on different days
  14. yes, not for free, but maybe a cheaper amount, like a big gulp cup
