Aim / The Entrepreneurship Case Studies course introduces students to the concept of entrepreneurship through the presentation of actual case studies from the international business environment. Emphasis will be given to innovative entrepreneurship cases (such as social networks and electronic business) and new forms of entrepreneurial focus such as corporate social responsibility.
The aim of this course is the encouragement and development of youngentrepreneurship.
CourseContents / Initially, the issue of entrepreneurship and its dimensions innational and international level will be presented. Following, before each lecture a Case Study will be given to students, will be discussed in class and in collaboration with the instructor useful conclusions in entrepreneurship are drawn.
Teaching /
  • Lectures (13 weeks X 3 hours).
  • Preparationanddiscussionofentrepreneurialcasestudies. Casestudiesareassignedtostudentswhopreparethemanddiscuss them in class.
  • Semester assignment where an analysis of entrepreneurship of international firms will be analyzed.

Assessment /
  • Groupassignment (30% of grade = 3 points)
  • Group discussions of case studies (50% of grade = 5 points)
  • Written final exam (20% of grade = 2 points)
  • Total 10 points
  • Assessments are subject to change according to number of students
