HIGH COVERAGE TINTERS

Background

Our target is to strenghten theSelemix range position in the LIC market delivering high quality products andpaint process solutions to meet the widest range of industrial applications.

To improve productoffer and the competitiveness of the Selemix System line in the LIC market, we are now introducing 3 new leadfree tinters, that will strongly improve hiding opacity in yellow and orange colors area.

Product Proposition

This launch brief refers to :

  • 1.191.2226/E1 – Replacement of 1.191.2227
  • 1.191.2229/E1 – New tinter
  • 1.191.4244/E1 – Replacement of 1.191.4243

These new toners willhelp to reach perceived opacity in yellow and orange color area using a lower number of coats (and grams of RFU product) compared to the current Selemix system lead free offer (NP27 and NP43).

NP 27 and NP 43 will be obsolete once that the color matchingis complete, NP 28 will remain in the range, but its presence in formulations will strongly decrease (about 30% of the current formulations amount).

COLOR MATCHING INFORMATION

Color formulation are currently in progress, the first tranche of about 500 International standard has been delivered in January; we plan to complete the color formulation by end 2011. During 2011, to preserve color capability, it will be necessary to keep both the new and the old leadfree tinters. Note that PaintManager CD contain the attached formulation only:
