Arlington Medical Institute provides the Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Crime Statistics Report Campus to every employee and student at orientation. The report is given annually to students and employees as a part of a commitment to safety and security pursuant to The Jeanne Clery Act. The Jeanne Clery Act is a Federal Law that requires colleges and universities in the United States to provide information to members of the campus community, and prospective students and employees, outlining its campus safety policies and procedures and crime statistics which have been reported on campus during the past three calendar years of 2010, 2011, 2012.

In the event that a situation arises, either on or off campus, that, in the judgment of the Arlington Police Department, constitutes an ongoing or continuing threat, a campus wide warning will be issued by phone or through faculty and staff members of Arlington Medical Institute. Missing Student Notification

If a member of the Arlington Medical Institute has reason tobelieve that a studentis missing, he or she should immediately notify the Arlington Police Department at 817-459-5700 or 817-459-5824 during and afterbusinesshours. The Arlington Police Department will generate a missing person report and initiate an investigation.

Inadditiontoregisteringageneralemergencycontact,studentsattending Arlington Medical Institute have theoptiontoidentifyconfidentiallyanindividualtobecontactedby the Arlington Police Department in theeventthestudentisdeterminedtobemissingformorethan24hours.Ifastudenthasidentifiedsuchanindividual,Arlington Police Department and the school willnotifythatindividualnolaterthan24hoursafterthestudentisdeterminedtobemissing.AstudentwhowishestoidentifyaconfidentialcontactcandosothroughtheArlington Police Department.A student’s confidential contact informationwillbeaccessibleonlybyauthorizedfaculty membersandlawenforcementinthecourseoftheinvestigation.

Afterinvestigatingamissingpersonreport,the Arlington Police Department willdetermineifthestudenthasbeenmissingfor24hours,the Arlington Police Department will notify thestudent’semergencycontactnolaterthan24hoursafterthestudentisdeterminedtobemissing.Ifthemissingstudentisundertheageof18andisnotanemancipated individual, the Arlington Police Department and the schoolwill immediatelynotify the student’sparent or legal guardian.

Criminal Offenses

Please alert first staff or faculty member you to report a criminal offense. If faculty or staff members are not present immediately dial 911 for an emergency from any of the phones located in the school or the clinical area if.
